Our Story: Driven by Passion, Powered by Connection

Where urban mobility meets trust, insight, and independence

At Scooter Planet, we believe that a scooter is more than just a piece of machinery, it’s a gateway to freedom, a practical solution to urban congestion, and a lifestyle choice that connects us to our cities and communities. Born from a shared frustration with the lack of reliable, unbiased information in the personal electric vehicle space, Scooter Planet was founded to be the trusted companion every rider needs.

We saw the problem, so we built the solution

We started as a small group of enthusiasts in Kuopio, Finland, who loved the thrill of two wheels. We spent our weekends tinkering with motors, debating battery lifespans, and pushing the limits of urban mobility. But as we connected with more riders, we noticed a recurring theme: people were overwhelmed. Choosing the right scooter was confusing, finding honest reviews was nearly impossible, and fixing a simple issue often meant expensive trips to a repair shop. We knew there had to be a better way.

“Scooter Planet made choosing my first e-scooter simple and stress-free. The honest reviews and practical guides saved me time and money. I finally feel confident on every ride.”

Inclusive

At Scooter Planet, inclusivity means making urban mobility accessible to everyone regardless of experience, background, or budget. We believe every rider deserves clear information, honest guidance, and a supportive community. Whether you're a beginner exploring your first scooter or an experienced rider upgrading your setup, we’re here to ensure no one feels left out or overwhelmed on their journey.

Responsible

We take responsibility for our community by supporting riders with practical advice, inclusive language, and safety‑first guidance, no matter your experience level. Ingenuity

Our ingenuity shows in clear guides, thoughtful comparisons, and DIY‑style tips that help you get the most out of your scooter without overcomplicating things. We believe that good engineering and creativity should always serve the rider, not just the technology.

It is about learning from riders, sharing experiences, and improving together. We believe that when riders, builders, and communities work as a team, we create safer, smarter, and more enjoyable scooter journeys.
